Toward Tanglewood II: Global Impact on Music Education

This conference will look at global topics impacting on music education by the year 2050. Topics are varied, including world musics, economics, politics, policy issues, immigration, and philosophy.

Focus Speakers will be Dr. Gary McPherson, University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana;
Dr. Frederic Pearson, Director, Center for Peace and Conflict Studies, Wayne State University; and Dr. Marie McCarthy, University of Michigan.

Registration fee $80; Full-time students $30 (includes Thursday reception and Saturday lunch).
